# Report page: Generate a clinical report
Navigate to the report page using the corrseponding button in the top bar:
# Report conclusion
The dropdown header of the REPORT section lets you set an overall conclusion for the analysis. Click the REPORT CONCLUSION (SELECT) dropdown to view the available options (see also table below). Hovering over each option also provides a description:

You can select multiple options; click again to unselect an option.
These are the available options:
| # | Choice | Description (on hover) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Normal | No pathogenic variants detected. |
| 2 | Dominant P/LP | In dominant gene: Class 4/5 found. |
| 3 | Recessive 2 P/LP unknown | In recessive gene: 2 Class 4/5 variants found, phase unknown. Note: If variants are in cis, use conclusion "Other". |
| 4 | Recessive 2 P/LP trans | In recessive gene, either: 2 Class 4/5 variants found with phase documented to be trans, or 1 homozygous Class 4/5 variant found. |
| 5 | Recessive 1 P/LP | In recessive gene: 1 Class 4/5 heterozygous variant that can explain phenotype found. Note: If variant does not fit with the patient's phenotype, consider using "Not relevant" - "Carrier P/LP (recessive)" |
| 6 | Uncertain finding | Variant or combination of variants with uncertain clinical importance found. |
| 7 | Incidental only | Pathogenic / likely pathogenic variant detected, but no variants directly related to the phenotype under investigation. |
| 8 | Other | Use this when conclusion is not covered by other options |
# Comment fields: Indication and report
You may add two types of comments on this page:
- INDICATION COMMENT: For comments about/description of the patient's indication. The contents of this comment field is also shown at the top of the side bar on the CLASSIFICATION page (changes in either place is mirrored in both).
NOTE
Comments about how the indication or phenotype has influenced the current analysis specifically should be made in the ANALYSIS SPECIFIC section on the CLASSIFICATION page, not here.
- REPORT COMMENT: For comments relevant for the sample as a whole (including all variants) and how the report was written.
NOTE
This is different from comments made in the REPORT field on the CLASSIFICATION page, which are connected to a specific variant.
As for the comment fields on the CLASSIFICATION page, you can quickly add pre-defined templates, signature and date, and references in these comment fields. Note that only references connected to variants currently included in the REPORT will be listed here.
# Adding or removing variants from the report export
The report page also lets you export variants in a CLINICAL REPORT using using standard naming conventions together with the classification, as well as any comments you added to the REPORT field in the CLASSIFICATION section.
Variants classified as Class (3,) 4 or 5 (depending on configuration) are automatically added to the report and marked with a - sign in the side bar. Not included variants are marked with a + sign. If you want to remove or add additional variants, simply click on the - or + sign, respectively, for the variant.

Once you are satisfied, copy the text generated in the REPORT field to LIMS software.
